Job summary

Growthspirit Trading seeks a Project Manager Electrical, Automation & Instrumentation to lead complete electrical, instrumentation and automation activities for a Greenfield Solar Glass plant in India. You will oversee concept engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, startup, handover and operation support.

You will manage power distribution, automation systems, instrumentation, and vendor coordination while guiding engineering & procurement, testing, FAT/SAT and reliability

Qualifications

• BE Electrical or BE IC with suitable experience in heavy electrical systems.
• Experience leading electrical, instrumentation and automation for large industrial plants.
• Strong knowledge of SLD, load flow, protection and switchgear selection.
• Experience in EPC projects with vendor finalization and cost control.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead power distribution design, SLD reviews, substation coordination.
• Develop and maintain electrical infrastructure, cables, earthing and lighting.
• Plan and implement backup power, DG/UPS, batteries and control systems.
• Oversee automation (PLC/DCS/SCADA) integration and HMI development.
• Instrument selection and calibration; loop check and FAT/SAT support.
• Furnace and production line electricals; BMS coordination.
• Procurement, vendor evaluation, BOQ, RFQ and negotiation.
• Project scheduling, monitoring and risk management.
• Shutdown planning, reliability improvement and team development.
• Site supervision, quality inspections and commissioning.

Qualification: BE Electrical, BE IC

Experience: 12-15 Years
Industry Preference: Solar Glass, Float Glass, Steel, Cement, Power Plant, Petrochemical, Process Industry, EPC Projects

Role Objective

Lead complete electrical, instrumentation and automation activities from concept engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, startup, plant handover, operation support, shutdown planning, fault-finding, team development and system reliability improvement for a Solar Glass Manufacturing Plant.
