Job summary

RNisarg Foundation in Mumbai/Thane seeks a Project Manager to lead Project SAKHI and other CSR projects. The role covers end-to-end planning, field implementation, stakeholder coordination, team oversight, monitoring and CSR reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in NGO/CSR with strong project management, budgeting, and communication skills across English, Hindi and Marathi. Regular field travel and collaboration with government and partner organisations are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute CSR projects per approved timelines, budgets and deliverables.

• Coordinate with CSR partners, government stakeholders, healthcare workers and NGOs.
• Manage project teams, field staff, interns and volunteers.
• Monitor field activities and ensure quality of implementation.
• Track targets, beneficiary data, KPIs and outcomes; prepare MIS and reports.
• Monitor budgets and coordinate with finance for expenses and documentation.
• Identify challenges and take timely corrective actions.
• Support proposals, renewals and expansion opportunities.

RNisarg projects are focused on reducing waste generation and promoting reuse and recycling, with a particular emphasis on creating Zero Waste Educational Institutions. This role sits within Project SAKHI, RNisarg's flagship menstrual health programme, alongside other CSR-funded projects.

Role

RNisarg Foundation is looking for a Project Manager to lead Project SAKHI and other CSR-funded projects. The role involves end-to-end project planning, field implementation, stakeholder coordination, team management, monitoring, documentation, and CSR reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute CSR projects as per approved timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Lead implementation of Project SAKHI, including menstrual health awareness, training, community outreach, and follow-ups
• Coordinate with CSR partners, government stakeholders, healthcare workers, trainers, NGOs, and communities
• Manage project teams, field staff, interns, and volunteers
• Conduct regular field visits and monitor implementation quality
• Track project targets, beneficiary data, KPIs, and outcomes
• Prepare MIS, monthly/quarterly reports, presentations, case studies, and impact documentation
• Monitor project budgets and coordinate with the finance team for expenses and supporting documents
• Identify implementation challenges and ensure timely corrective action
• Support project proposals, renewals, and expansion opportunities

Requirements

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Public Health, Development Studies, Management, Sociology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in NGO, CSR, public health, or community-based projects
• Strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and team management skills
• Good communication and reporting skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, Word, and PowerPoint
• Comfortable with regular field travel
• Experience in women's health, menstrual health, or community development an added advantage
