Job summary

Reliance Industries (RIL) is hiring an experienced Civil Project Manager in Jamnagar to lead end-to-end civil construction for utility-scale solar projects. You will oversee site development including grading, foundations, roads, drainage and equipment foundations, coordinating with EPCs and internal teams to meet drawings, specs and BOQ.

The role requires strong EPC/project execution experience, contractor and manpower management, and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end civil construction and execution of utility-scale solar projects.

• Monitor project schedule, progress, manpower, materials and equipment.
• Ensure construction aligns with drawings, specifications and BOQ; review ITPs and methods.
• Track contractor performance, billing and compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate interface with electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams; prepare progress reports.
• Support testing, commissioning, punch-point closure and project handover.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end civil construction and execution of utility-scale solar projects.
• Plan and supervise site activities including site grading, excavation, foundations, roads, drainage, fencing, buildings and equipment foundations.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors and internal engineering/procurement teams.
• Monitor project schedule, progress, manpower, materials and equipment.
• Ensure construction is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and quality standards.
• Review civil drawings, method statements, ITPs and construction methodologies.
• Handle RCC works, piling/foundation works, structural foundations, cable trenches and drainage systems.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical/construction-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and project quality standards.
• Track contractor performance, measurements, billing and work completion.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams for interface activities.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and highlight project risks and delays.
• Support testing, commissioning, punch-point closure and project handover.
