Job summary

Apollo Hospitals in India seeks a Project Manager, Construction to lead end-to-end hospital construction and infrastructure projects, covering new builds, expansions, renovations, and upgrades.

You will manage planning, design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and handover, coordinating with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering; additional qualification in Construction/Project Management preferred.
• Approximately 8–15 years in construction/project management, depending on role seniority.
• Experience in hospital/healthcare construction, large commercial buildings, hotels, or complex institutional projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of Civil, MEP, HVAC, project planning, contracts, BOQ, costing, and site execution.
• Good stakeholder, contractor, vendor, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end construction projects for new hospitals, expansions, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Manage projects from planning, design coordination and budgeting through execution, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, PMC teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, BOQs, cash flows, and execution plans.
• Monitor site progress and ensure projects are completed within agreed cost, quality, scope, and timelines.
• Oversee civil, structural, architectural, MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and related works.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, contractor submissions, and material requirements.
• Manage contractor/vendor selection, negotiations, work orders, billing certification, variations, and change orders.
• Coordinate with liaisoning teams for required statutory approvals, NOCs, and regulatory clearances.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, EHS/safety requirements, building codes, and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site reviews, identify project risks/bottlenecks, and drive timely closure.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of hospital infrastructure and support services before operational handover.
• Maintain project documentation and provide regular MIS/progress reports to senior management.
• Ensure smooth final handover, snag closure, documentation, and project close-out.
