Job summary

Indus Net Technologies (INT.) in India seeks an experienced Project Manager with BFS domain expertise to lead technology and business transformation projects. You will own planning, governance, risk and stakeholder management to deliver on time and within budget.

You will coordinate with Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, QA, and Operations, ensuring compliance with SDLC and delivery standards while managing client relationships and multi-site delivery.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years IT experience with at least 4 years as a Project Manager.
• Strong BFS domain project experience.
• Experience with client-facing and offshore-onsite delivery models.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, governance and delivery management.
• Experience with fixed-price, T&M, and managed service engagements.
• Excellent communication, leadership and negotiation skills.
• Experience with Jira, Azure and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong Banking, Financial Services (BFS) domain knowledge to lead and deliver technology and business transformation projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, stakeholder management, risk management, and successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead end-to-end project delivery using Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved plans.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
• Ensure project governance and compliance with organizational standards.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, business users, and internal teams.
• Facilitate requirement discussions, workshops, and steering committee meetings.
• Manage client expectations and ensure timely communication of project updates.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, QA, and Operations.

BFS Domain Responsibilities

• Understand banking and financial services processes, products, and regulations.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.

Delivery & Quality Management

• Manage project budgets, effort tracking, and resource utilization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–15 years of overall IT experience with at least 4 years as a Project Manager.
• Strong experience managing BFS domain projects.
