Job summary

LyondellBasell in Vadodara is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives in manufacturing and operations. You will drive initiation through completion, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence while coordinating local execution with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities include developing detailed plans, budgets, risk registers, and KPIs; managing governance; and guiding change, with a focus on continuous improvement and strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 5–8 years of project management experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or industrial environments.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for strategic manufacturing and operational projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, resource plans, budgets, and risk registers.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, and external partners.
• Facilitate effective communication between regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
• Drive project governance processes and ensure compliance with global project management standards and reporting requirements.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Track project performance using defined KPIs and provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Organize and lead project review meetings, steering committee discussions, and stakeholder communications.
• Support change management activities and ensure successful adoption of project outcomes.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project execution processes and best practices.

Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional projects from initiation through completion. The role will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with organizational objectives. The individual will serve as the key link between local execution teams and global stakeholders, driving communication, governance, risk management, and project performance

• Proven experience leading in automations and plastics recycle industry is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
