Job summary

LyondellBasell in India (Sriperumbudur) is seeking a Quality Assurance Lab Analyst to ensure daily lab activities comply with ISO standards and 5S practices. You will perform PPC & MBS product testing, prepare samples, maintain equipment, and support audits and data reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Batchelors Degree, about 2 years of lab testing experience, and familiarity with QC tools. Strong English communication and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Batchelors degree in a relevant field.
• 2 years laboratory testing experience.
• ISO/IEC 17025 labs experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily lab activities comply with HSE requirements.
• Complete timely testing of PPC & MBS products, including incoming in-process and final inspection.
• Preparation of Blown film samples & molding specimens as per standard.
• Perform daily verification and basic maintenance of lab equipment.
• Conduct Process and Product Audits as per plan.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S in the QA Lab, Blown Film and Sample Retention areas.
• Support incoming raw material testing and supplier report verification.
• Support NPD trials and maintain testing records.
• Authority to stop production to correct quality problems & ensure conformity to product requirements.
• Comply with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements and complete MIS reporting.

Work Experience

1. 2 years laboratory testing working experience.
2. Working in plastic manufacturing industry is a plus.
3. ISO/IEC 17025 certified Laboratories experience is preferred.
4. Knowledge of quality system is necessary, such as IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015.

Skills and Language

Skills:

1. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and QC data-entry systems.
2. Familiarity with basic QC tools such as Fishbone (Ishikawa), Pareto, 5 Why, etc.
3. Basic knowledge of quality data analysis and reporting.
