Job summary

Burckhardt Compression India is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive on-time delivery of packages from order to commissioning. You will coordinate design, planning, manufacturing, procurement, and QA to meet scope, cost and schedule.

Requirements include a BE/BTech (Mechanical/Production/Industrial) with 5–7 years of experience, knowledge of API/ASME/DIN standards, familiarity with AutoCAD/UG, and strong English skills; German language is a plus.

• BE / B Tech (Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial) with 5-7 years of experience.
• Sound knowledge of rotating / static equipment engineering.
• Proficiency in English; German language is a plus.

Position: Project Manager

Location: Kondhapuri

Your Contributions To Organisation's Growth

• Responsible for the on-time delivery of the product/packages as per the purchase order.
• Review of contract with respect to technical and commercial specifications with sales.
• Obtain clarity on technical and commercial disparities if any in the purchase order from the client.
• Obtain approval of drawings, documents and Quality Assurance Plan from client, consultant and third party inspection agencies.
• Expedite procurement of Bought out Equipment’s in Co-ordination with Supply chain management.
• Interface with Design, Planning, Manufacturing to smooth execution of the project.
• Expedite inspection with Consultants, Third Party Inspection Agencies and Client and co- coordinating with Quality Assurance Dept for relevant documentation required for completion of inspection.
• Co-ordinate with Manufacturing, Logistics and Accounts Dept to ensure proper documentation of billing and dispatch.
• Obtain Performance approval test certificate from Client/Customers.
• Interface with CSS for timely erection and commissioning of packages.
• Obtain payments / relevant bank guarantees from customer.
• Maintain and follow defined quality management system in the project execution.
• Update and maintain appropriate MIS.
• Maintain & Adhere QMS & EOHS procedures.

Education/ Experience / Languages

• BE / B Tech (Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial) 5-7 years of experience
• Sound knowledge of rotating / static equipment's engineering
• Knowledge of international standards like API, ASME, ASTM, DIN etc.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD / UG for 2D & 3D modeling will be an added advantage.
• EMSR, site management / construction experience will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of QMS & EOHS
• Proficiency in English
• Language skill in German would be added advantage

• This role primary responsibility remains end to end customer interaction i.e. Internal as well as external to complete the project on time and within the given cost.
• This demands the sound techno commercial knowledge.
