Job summary

Apave International India is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Team Leader for Third Party Inspection (TPI) to oversee large-scale TPI and Vendor Inspection assignments for major Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical and EPC clients.

You will lead multidisciplinary inspection teams, ensure timely deliverables, manage client relationships and drive project profitability across multiple locations and projects.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy or a relevant engineering discipline.
• 12–18 years of experience in TPI/TIC, EPC, Oil & Gas, Refinery or Petrochemical sectors.
• Proven track record in managing large, complex inspection contracts/projects.
• Experience handling owner/EPC organizations such as Reliance Industries or similar.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Commercial and financial acumen with understanding of project profitability.
• PMP or relevant technical certifications will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for project profitability, including cost control, resource optimization, billing coordination and margin improvement.
• Identify opportunities for additional scope, contract extensions and cross-selling of TPI/TIC services.
• Develop new business opportunities and generate leads from existing and prospective clients.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements and applicable technical and quality standards.
• Provide technical, operational and commercial leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with an understanding of project profitability.
• Business development and account management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic project environment.
• PMP or relevant technical certifications will be an added advantage.

A techno-commercial and client-focused professional capable of independently managing large TPI contracts while ensuring quality delivery, client satisfaction, project profitability and business growth.
