Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services is seeking a seasoned Requirements Engineer/Business Analyst to oversee elicitation, analysis, and documentation of stakeholder needs for business applications. You will drive functional support across deployment and 3rd level support, ensuring data accuracy and compliance while collaborating with global teams.

You will analyze large data sets, create insightful visualizations, and support project decisions with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Requirements Engineering or Business Analysis.
• Experience in agile teams.
• Experience working with distributed teams (off-shore, near-shore, on-site).

Responsibilities

Job description

Role Description:

Manages and ensures the identification, analysis and preparation of explicit and implicit stakeholder requirements and drives the functional support for business applications during deployment and 3rd level support.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all reports and dashboards- ensure VAIT/DORA compliance
• Analyse large volumes of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to project
• Create data visualizations to effectively communicate key findings and project performance metrics
• Support project decision-making by providing actionable insights based on data analysis
• Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in processes
• Requirements Collection and Evaluation , Solution Implementation and Testing, Gap Analysis, Creating Functional Specifications.

Key Competencies & Skills required

Technical:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in requirements engineering or business analysis
• Experience in working in agile teams
• Experience in working with distributed teams (off-shore, near-shore, on-site)
• Basic knowledge of software development and the technologies used
• Experience in communication with stakeholders to understand and document their needs
• Candidate should have Insurance knowledge (General or Travel)

Nice to have:

• Experience in the use of policy administration systems in insurance
• Basic understanding of programming concepts and languages (e.g. Java, React, PL/SQL)
• Knowledge of insurance contract/administration processes
• Experience in German insurance
• Bipro understanding
• Mainframe knowledge/SQL understanding

Previous Experience & Qualifications

Education/Qualification:

• College degree with a focus on insurance, mathematics, economics, business informatics, computer science or equivalent engineering degree
• Very good knowledge of English, both in writing and speaking
