Allure Commerce is seeking a Project Manager to lead Shopify Plus and Adobe Commerce Cloud website support and maintenance. You will drive end-to-end projects, RUN operations, and SLA adherence while championing AI-enabled delivery.

Job Description

Project Manager for Shopify Plus and Adobe commerce cloud Website Support and Maintenance is responsible for leading projects focused on the ongoing maintenance, updates, and support of e-commerce websites built on the Shopify and Magento Cloud platforms. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, resources and budgets, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project.

The Project Manager will also be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial scoping through final delivery, for e-commerce projects built on Shopify and Adobe Commerce Cloud platforms, as well as managing ongoing RUN operations and ensuring adherence to SLA commitments. The role will also involve driving the adoption of AI tools across project delivery to improve planning, documentation, reporting, operational efficiency, and team productivity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Overall Project Management

a. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and technical teams to ensure deliverables are as per the defined project scope/SLA, objectives and requirements.

b. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, tasks and resource allocation, for build projects, using project management tools.

c. Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success, and develop mitigation strategies.

d. Monitor project timelines and ensure that milestones are achieved on schedule.

e. Manage the project budget in terms of defined efforts as agreed in the statement of work for build projects, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.

f. Implement change request management processes to minimize disruptions and ensure a smooth transition.

Maintenance Planning and Tracking

a. Collaborate with clients and technical teams to plan and schedule routine website maintenance activities, including security patches, updates and performance optimizations.

b. Prioritize issues based on their impact on website functionality and business operations.

c. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, issue resolutions and updates applied to the website through monitoring tools.

Client Communication

a. Communicate maintenance schedules, updates and issue resolution progress to clients in a clear and timely manner.

b. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, maintaining regular communication regarding project progress, challenges and updates.

c. Address client concerns, feedback and change requests in a timely manner.

Vendor Management

a. Coordinate with third-party vendors, if applicable, for specialized support and services related to website components.

Quality Assurance

a. Implement quality control processes to ensure the final deliverables meet specified standards and client expectations.

b. Conduct regular reviews and testing to identify and rectify issues.

Documentation

a. Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, status reports and change requests.

b. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, effort tracking, issue resolutions and updates applied to the website.

AI-Enabled Delivery

a. Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot or similar) to speed up project planning, task breakdowns, estimations and risk identification.

b. Leverage AI for meeting notes, status reports, client updates and project documentation, while ensuring accuracy and review of all output.

c. Identify opportunities to integrate AI into development, QA and support workflows in collaboration with the tech team.

d. Evaluate and recommend AI-powered tools for project management, testing and e-commerce operations.

e. Follow responsible AI practices, including data privacy, client confidentiality and human review of AI-generated output.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

2. Overall 5 years of experience in website development project management and 2 years of relevant experience in managing e-commerce platforms, specifically Shopify and Adobe commerce cloud.

3. Strong understanding of project management methodologies.

4. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

6. Proficiency in project management software and tools.

7. Hands-on experience using AI tools in day-to-day project management and delivery.

8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; video call is mandatory.

9. Exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and foster effective collaboration among team members and external partners.

Add On Qualities

1. PMP or Adobe Commerce Business Practitioner / Shopify certification.

2. Strong understanding of website performance, security and maintenance best practices.

3. Awareness of AI capabilities within Shopify and Adobe Commerce, such as Shopify Magic, Sidekick, and AI-driven search and personalization.
