Job summary

People, Jobs, and News seeks a highly experienced Civil Engineer / Senior Project Manager with 15–20 years of hands-on construction expertise to lead a premium residential project from excavation through final handover. You will manage site activities, coordinate with multiple specialists, and ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Strong RCC, structural, MEP coordination, interiors and landscaping knowledge is essential, along with proficiency in AutoCAD for coordination and drawings

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of hands-on civil construction and project management experience.
• Strong experience with premium/luxury residential construction.
• Ability to independently manage high-end houses and villas from excavation to handover.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Civil Engineer / Senior Project Manager with 15–20 years of hands‑on construction experience to take end-to-end responsibility for the execution and supervision of a premium residential project. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, practical site experience and the ability to independently manage residential construction projects from excavation and RCC through MEP, interiors, finishing, landscaping and final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of end-to-end project execution, from civil works through finishing and final handover.
• Supervise day-to-day construction activities and coordinate with architects, structural and MEP consultants, interior designers, contractors, vendors and specialist agencies.
• Review architectural, structural and MEP drawings and identify coordination issues before execution.
• Use AutoCAD for drawing review and basic detail modifications for site coordination.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, milestones and daily/weekly progress.
• Ensure strict control over quality, workmanship, specifications and timelines.
• Check contractor measurements, quantities, BOQs and bills before certification.
• Resolve technical and execution issues independently and conduct regular coordination meetings.
• Provide concise progress reports to the owner/management.
• Maintain documentation of drawings, approvals, revisions, measurements and site decisions.
• Coordinate civil, MEP, interiors, finishing and landscaping activities through snagging and final handover.
• Ensure safe execution in accordance with applicable standards and requirements.

Candidate Profile

• 15–20 years of hands‑on experience in civil construction and project management.
• Strong proven experience in premium/luxury residential construction.
• Experience independently managing high-end houses, villas, bungalows or luxury residences.
• Strong understanding of RCC, structural works, MEP coordination, interiors, finishing and landscaping.
• Experience managing projects from excavation/RCC through complete handover.
• Strong knowledge of architectural, structural and MEP drawings and working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of BOQs, quantities, contractor measurements and billing.
• Strong contractor, consultant and vendor coordination skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Capable of independently representing the owner's interests on site.
