Job summary

V.Group is seeking a Project Manager in India to lead designated projects from start-up to acceptance, including proposal preparation, budgeting, and plan development. You will monitor technical and financial performance, manage resources, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with subcontractors and customers.

Required are a marine/mechanical/naval engineering degree, 5 years post-grad experience, strong tendering and cost estimation skills, and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Marine / Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture
• 5 year post graduate experience in naval architecture, marine or electrical engineering.
• Track record in tendering process and cost estimation
• Hands on and ‘can do’ approach to the business
• Must be prepared to travel extensively and at short notice
• Excellent track record with clients and very good communication skills.
• Hold a recognised Project Management qualification commensurate with the position.
• Computer literate with knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Professional (including MS Project), also knowledge of bespoke design software i.e. AutoCAD, Mathcad, FEA.
• Eligibility for Security Clearance up to UK Secret.
