Job summary

Omnicom Global Solutions in Chennai is seeking a Project Manager, Workforce Solutions to coordinate and drive global workforce initiatives across onshore and offshore teams. You will partner with the Workforce Solutions lead to ensure alignment on operating models, governance, and delivery across regions.

The role requires strong program management skills, 8–10 years of experience in global delivery, and the ability to work across US/Canada, India, and nearshore teams, with a focus on execution

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in project management, operations, or program coordination (global delivery preferred).
• Ability to work overlapping hours aligned to Pacific time zone.
• Strong experience working across distributed global teams (US/India/nearshore).

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end execution of workforce initiatives across training, governance, workforce optimization, and transformation workstreams
• Maintain integrated project plans, timelines, dependencies, and milestone tracking across regions
• Coordinate day-to-day execution between US/Canada, India, Philippines, and nearshore teams
• Support preparation and coordination of Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs/QBRs)
• Consolidate workforce data, performance metrics, and status updates for leadership reporting
• Track progress of workforce optimization initiatives (e.g., shoring transitions, role migrations, efficiency initiatives)
• Maintain visibility into training standardization efforts and job architecture updates
• Assist in onboarding new agencies into the OGS delivery model
• Track implementation of automation initiatives and operational improvements

About the role

We are seeking for a The Project Manager, Workforce Solutions will support the execution of global workforce initiatives across onshore (US & Canada), offshore (OGS), and nearshore teams. This role is responsible for driving operational coordination, tracking delivery of workforce programs, maintaining governance cadence, and ensuring executional alignment across multiple workstreams.

The role acts as a key delivery partner to the Workforce Solutions lead, enabling consistent execution of operating model initiatives, transformation programs, and workforce optimization efforts across regions

Responsibilities

• Program & Project Execution Support
• Support end-to-end execution of workforce initiatives across training, governance, workforce optimization, and transformation workstreams
• Maintain integrated project plans, timelines, dependencies, and milestone tracking across regions
• Ensure timely follow-up and closure of action items across all stakeholder groups

• OnshoreOffshore Coordination
• Coordinate day-to-day execution between US/Canada, India, Philippines, and nearshore teams
• Track cross-regional execution risks, blockers, and dependencies

• Governance & Reporting
• Support preparation and coordination of Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs/QBRs)
• Consolidate workforce data, performance metrics, and status updates for leadership reporting
• Maintain governance documentation, trackers, and decision logs
• Ensure structured tracking of escalation items and resolution follow-through

• Workforce Initiative Tracking
• Track progress of workforce optimization initiatives (e.g., shoring transitions, role migrations, efficiency initiatives)
• Maintain visibility into training standardization efforts and job architecture updates

• Data & Workforce Analytics Support
• Support collection and validation of employee-level workforce data across clients and disciplines
• Assist in preparing dashboards and summary views for leadership consumption
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of workforce reporting inputs

• Training & Knowledge Management Coordination
• Coordinate updates and refresh cycles of training materials across regions
• Track completion and adoption of standardized training content
• Maintain central repository of training documentation and updates

• New Business Setup Support
• Support operational setup of new business teams, including onboarding coordination and readiness tracking
• Assist in implementing org structure decisions and ensuring execution readiness
• Coordinate onboarding of new agencies into the OGS delivery model

• Transformation & Automation Execution Support
• Track implementation of automation initiatives and operational improvements
• Support documentation of process changes and adoption tracking

Assist in identifying execution gaps and escalating risks to leadership

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in project management, operations, or program coordination (global delivery preferred)
• Ability to work overlapping hours aligned to Pacific time zone
• Strong experience working across distributed global teams (US/India/nearshore)

Core Capabilities

• Excellent organizational and stakeholder coordination skills
• Strong proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint; exposure to reporting/dashboard tools preferred
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and execution discipline’

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, RICS, LEED, WELL, or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
• Flexibility to work with EMEA stakeholders overlaps as required.
