Job summary

Sartorius in Bengaluru is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of complex projects, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives are met for our clients. You will drive governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment, using SAP CJ20N and MS Project, with PMP certification required and SAFe Scrum Master beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of project/program management experience with proven delivery of complex projects.
• PMP certification required; Agile SAFe Scrum Master certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including MS Project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP and project management modules is preferred; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of projects/programs, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and cost objectives are met.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project management processes, tools, and systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and provide direction to drive successful project outcomes.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
• Monitor project performance, risks, issues, and KPIs, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, costs, and financial performance, implementing corrective actions as required.
• Lead and coordinate complex customer and ETO projects, including meetings, kick-offs, FAT, and SAT activities.
• Maintain project data, milestones, forecasts, and activity tracking in SAP (CJ20N) and MS Project.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, contractual requirements, and PMO governance frameworks.

Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of projects/programs, ensuring fulfillment of all contractual obligations while meeting scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives. The role drives strong, long-term partnerships between Sartorius and its clients through effective stakeholder management, project governance, risk management, and transparent reporting using PMO tools, templates, and best practices.

• Strong strategic thinking, planning, and organizational skills, with a focus on achieving business objectives.
• Experience working in a similar industry and managing customer-facing projects.
• Working knowledge of SAP and project management modules is preferred; fluent English required.
