Job summary

Overt Minds is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for our software services team in Bengaluru. You will drive end-to-end project execution for software development and digital transformation, coordinating across client stakeholders to ensure value delivery and alignment with business objectives.

The role requires 7–10 years of project leadership, PMP certification, and strong experience in eCommerce or large digital initiatives, with hands-on use of Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience managing software development or IT consulting projects.
• PMP certification is mandatory.
• Experience managing eCommerce, retail tech, or large-scale digital projects.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and project delivery frameworks.
• Hands-on experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or MS Project.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional, distributed teams in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple client projects from initiation to deployment, ensuring quality, timeliness, and profitability.
• Act as the primary client liaison, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
• Develop detailed project plans, define milestones, allocate resources, and monitor progress against KPIs.
• Implement and oversee Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) across cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery.
• Identify project risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and manage change requests effectively.
• Motivate and mentor project teams to drive performance, accountability, and collaboration.
