Job summary

Nisource Technologies in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end middleware/integration projects. You will drive delivery from requirements through production stabilization, coordinating cross-functional teams across middleware, API and enterprise platforms.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, governance, and risk-mitigation skills, with experience in webMethods, ESB and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of middleware/integration projects from requirements to production stabilization.
• Manage projects using webMethods, APIs, ESB, and enterprise middleware platforms.
• Own project planning, scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, milestones and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Drive requirements analysis, solution discussions, technical design reviews, SIT/UAT, release and deployment.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and escalations; ensure timely resolution.
• Establish governance including status reporting, RAID, MoM, steering committee updates, executive reporting.
• Manage customer and stakeholder expectations and act as primary delivery contact.
• Collaborate with technical leads on solutioning, estimation and feasibility.
• Support proposals, RFP/RFI responses, SoWs, estimates and delivery models.
• Monitor financials, resource utilization, budget, forecast and commitments.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, quality, security requirements and change/release processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and platform optimization.
• Lead production releases, hypercare, stabilization and transition to support.
• Mentor team members and promote delivery discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of middleware/integration development projects, from requirements and solutioning through development, testing, deployment, and production stabilization.
• Manage projects involving webMethods, APIs, ESB, application integration, messaging, file-based integrations, and enterprise middleware platforms.
• Own project planning, scope, schedule, resource allocation, dependencies, milestones, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with application, middleware, database, infrastructure, security, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Drive requirements analysis, solution discussions, technical design reviews, development, SIT/UAT, release and deployment activities.
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Establish project governance, including status reporting, RAID tracking, MoM, action tracking, steering committee updates, and executive reporting.
• Manage customer and stakeholder expectations and act as the primary delivery point of contact.
• Work with technical leads and architects on solutioning, estimation, effort planning, technology adoption, and technical feasibility.
• Support preparation of proposals, RFP/RFI responses, SoWs, estimates, project plans, and delivery models.
• Monitor project financials, resource utilization, budget, forecast, and commercial commitments.
• Ensure adherence to organizational processes, SDLC, quality standards, security requirements, and change/release management processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, modernization, and platform optimization.
• Lead production releases, hypercare, stabilization, and transition to support/operations.
• Mentor project team members and promote effective collaboration and delivery discipline.

Required Technical Understanding

The candidate should have working knowledge of:

• Cloud and hybrid integration environments

Note: The PM does not necessarily need to be a hands-on webMethods developer, but should be technically strong enough to understand architecture, dependencies, estimates, delivery risks, technical discussions, and integration issues.

Experience & Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in project/delivery management.
• Experience managing middleware, integration, application development, or enterprise platform projects.
• Experience working with enterprise customers and multiple technology teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong experience in project governance, risk management, planning and reporting.
• Experience managing distributed teams and multiple concurrent workstreams.
• PMP / Agile / Scrum certification would be an advantage
