Job summary

YASH Technologies is seeking an experienced Scrum Master Lead Engineer to oversee scrum processes and coach teams in Bengaluru. The role involves facilitating daily scrums, sprint planning, and reviews, while coordinating release planning with Product Owners.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in IT, hands-on Agile coaching experience, and strong skills in Jira/Smartsheet, with the ability to drive teams toward high performance in digital/web/eCommerce domains.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience required.
• At least 1 delivered project as Scrum Master in digital/web/ecommerce.
• Able to coach teams and stakeholders on Agile practices.
• Enjoy mentoring teams to maximize progress using Agile/scrum/Lean.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scrum process and coach the team; facilitates transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
• Lead daily scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings; manages interdependencies between agile teams.
• Support release planning with the Product Owner and keep the backlog healthy.
• Guide the team on Scrum and Agile practices and methodology.
• Identify and address impediments to delivery including cultural/logistic barriers.
• Foster collaboration across team members; encourage cross-training and support.
• Administer metrics tracking and related duties for the team.

Scrum Master Lead Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee scrum process and coaches the team; facilitates transparency, inspection, and adaption
• Lead daily scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings to ensure full team engagement. Manages interdependencies between agile teams
• Work with the Product Owner to support short and long-term release planning, and to keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution
• Guide the scrum team on how to use scrum and Agile practices and methodology
• Anticipate and addresses potential or actual impediments to team delivery (cultural barriers, logistic challenges)
• Foster close cooperation across all team members; encourages cross-training and team support
• Administer metrics tracking and other duties on behalf of the team

Qualification And Experience

• Minimum of 7 years IT experience
• At least 1 successfully delivered project using Scum methodology in the role as Scrum Master in the digital/Web/eCommerce domain
• Able to coach a team and stakeholders on Agile practices and ensure adherence to Agile methodology
• You enjoy coaching and mentoring a team to maximize progress and potential.
• Motivated and driven, and can influence and drive teams to success using Agile/scrum/Lean practices
• Have good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem-solving skills and learning attitude.
• Deep skills in Jira and/or Smartsheet Working knowledge of Scaled Agile (SAFe) a plus
