Job summary

M.M.Enterprises (Recruitment Agency in India) has a client seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager for Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The role requires 10+ years in MEP project management across Fire Fighting, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing disciplines.

The incumbent will coordinate with clients and stakeholders, review drawings and BOQs, lead kick-off meetings, and ensure compliance with NBC, NFPA, IS standards. This is a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP project management with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

MEP Project Manager – Bhilwara, Rajasthan

Position: Permanent | Reporting to: Director / General Manager – Projects | Experience: 10+ years

Key Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact for all MEP disciplines (Fire Fighting, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) across assigned projects.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors as the primary MEP interface throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve MEP design drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings before implementation.
• Lead project kick-off meetings; define scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource plans for MEP works.
• Ensure MEP works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, applicable codes, and quality standards.

Fire Fighting Systems

• Plan and oversee installation of fire suppression systems (sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, fire alarm systems, clean agent systems).
• Ensure compliance with NBC, NFPA standards, and local fire department requirements.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, and testing of fire detection and suppression systems.
• Liaise with fire safety authority to obtain necessary NOCs/approvals.

HVAC Systems

• Manage installation and commissioning of HVAC systems: chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV, ducting, and controls.
• Review load calculations, equipment selections, energy efficiency parameters.
• Supervise insulation works, TAB, and BMS integration.
• Ensure adherence to ASHRAE standards and project specifications.

Electrical Systems

• Oversee LT/HT electrical works: substation, DG sets, MDB/SMDB, wiring, lighting, earthing, lightning protection.
• Review single-line diagrams, cable schedules, electrical load calculations.
• Coordinate with utility companies for power connections and compliance with CEA/CEIG regulations.
• Ensure safe installations per IE Rules, NBC, and IS standards.

Plumbing Systems

• Manage domestic water supply, hot water systems, drainage, sanitary, rainwater harvesting, and sewage treatment plant works.
• Review plumbing schematics and ensure compliance with NBC and local municipal authority requirements.
• Coordinate testing, flushing, disinfection, and commissioning of all plumbing systems.

Project Planning, Monitoring & Controls

• Develop detailed schedules (MS Project / Primavera) and monitor progress against milestones.
• Prepare and track budgets; control costs and manage variations/change orders.
• Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings; submit MIS reports to management.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure snag‑free handover with complete as‑built drawings and O&M manuals.

QHSE

• Implement QA/QC procedures in line with ISO and project‑specific plans.
• Enforce HSE norms; conduct safety audits & toolbox talks.
• Maintain documentation: inspection reports, NCRs, test certificates, warranties.

Qualifications & Education

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Postgraduate qualification (M.Tech/MBA in Project Management) is an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP project management, with at least 5 years in a managerial/lead role.
• Proven record of handling large‑scale MEP projects (commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure).
• Hands‑on experience across all four MEP disciplines.
• Experience with real‑estate developers, EPC contractors, or MEP consulting firms.
• Experience managing projects in Rajasthan or North/West India is preferred.
