Job summary

Acumont Solutions is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Design Engineer for mining equipment in Nashik. You will design hydraulic systems for underground trucks/loaders, select components, run calculations and simulations, and coordinate with vendors to ensure robust, energy-efficient solutions.

The role requires 6-10 years in mining or earth-moving hydraulics, with BE/BTech/ME in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering. Proficiency in Creo, AutoCAD, and PLM systems is essential.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in mining/earth-moving equipment hydraulics.
• Experience with mobile hydraulics design and integration.
• Knowledge of relevant design standards (ISO/DIN) and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Hydraulic system design & integration for underground mining trucks/ loaders.
• Select pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, motors, and filters per applications.
• Perform system calculations and simulations; prepare BOM and ECNs.
• Interface with vendors to source validated hydraulic components.
• Provide on-time support during prototyping and testing.

Job description

- Hydraulic System Design & integration for Underground mining Trucks/Loaders Design and development of hydraulic circuits, components, and systems for new and existing machines Analysing the existing

- Design and recommend improvements in terms of cost/ energy efficiency without affecting basic performance requirements.

Select appropriate hydraulic components (pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, motors, filters, etc.) based on application requirements.

- Perform system calculations and simulations.

- Drive innovation in hydraulic design and efficiency optimization

Evaluate emerging hydraulic technologies and propose adoption strategies towards an energy-efficient system.

- Interface with vendors and suppliers to source and validate hydraulic components

- Perform checking BOM, ECNs and design documentation

Following the design procedures, instructions and standards like ISO, DIN etc..

- On-time support during prototyping and testing. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders through effective collaboration to foster a cohesive team environment

- Comply with company policies and follow company values and business code of practice

Mission:

Deliver value-added design solutions to assigned projects or tasks, including component and sub-system design, BOM updates, and implementation of engineering change notices (ECNS). Manage projects to ensure high-quality, timely, and efficient delivery, with the goal of achieving customer satisfaction while adhering to established procedures, guidelines, company policies, and core values.

Experience Requirements:

- 6-10yrs. of experience - Mining / Earth moving equipment /off road vehicles, preferably on Hydraulic system Design of mobile Hydraulics.

Education:

- BE / BTech/ME- Mechanical/Automobile Engineering

Tool knowledge:

- Hands-on experience in Creo, AutoCAD.

- Experience working on a PLM system
