Job summary

Secure Innovative Solutions LLP in Ahmedabad, Gujarat is seeking a hands-on Hydraulic Engineer to design, assemble, test and troubleshoot hydraulic systems for HVM and security products. You will develop hydraulic power packs, select components, prepare diagrams and BOMs, and support FAT/commissioning.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in hydraulic system design, is proficient with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and understands control systems and testing procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in hydraulic system design, assembly, testing or troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hydraulic circuits based on product requirements.
• Perform basic calculations for cylinder force, pressure, flow, speed, pump capacity and motor power.
• Select and specify pumps, valves, cylinders, manifolds, hoses, fittings and other hydraulic components.
• Prepare hydraulic circuit diagrams, BOMs and technical specifications.
• Develop, assemble and test hydraulic power packs.
• Assist in hydraulic cylinder selection, specifications, inspection and testing.
• Integrate hydraulic systems with crash-rated bollards, road blockers, HVM gates, tyre killers and other security products.
• Conduct pressure, leakage and performance testing and support FAT/commissioning.
• Troubleshoot issues such as oil leakage, low pressure, slow cylinder movement, valve/pump malfunction, overheating and pressure fluctuations.
• Prepare and maintain hydraulic drawings, BOMs, specifications, testing procedures and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, Quality, Projects and Service teams.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a hands-on Hydraulic Engineer responsible for the design, development, assembly, testing and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems, including hydraulic power packs and cylinders used in HVM and physical security products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop hydraulic circuits based on product requirements.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, manifolds, hoses, fittings and hydraulic circuits.
• Understanding of pressure/flow measurement and basic electro-hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled hydraulic systems, sensors and electrical panels will be an advantage.
• AutoCAD Required
• SolidWorks / 3D CAD Preferred
• MS Excel and basic ERP/BOM knowledge.

Education & Experience

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in hydraulic system design, assembly, testing or troubleshooting.
• Experience in hydraulic machinery, heavy equipment, construction equipment, power packs or hydraulic cylinders will be preferred.
• Experience with HVM/security equipment such as road blockers, bollards or gates will be an added advantage.
