Job summary

Galaxy Surfactants Limited in Tarapur seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead greenfield and brownfield capital projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget adherence. You will oversee from concept to commissioning and coordinate across engineering, procurement, erection and commissioning teams.

You will mentor site engineers, manage risk, monitor progress and report to management, while driving techno-commercial procurement and ensuring zero incidents on site.

Qualifications

• Good Chemical Engineering knowledge and application.
• Knowledge of MSP & Project management will be preferred.
• Basic knowledge required in Safety, Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation for site execution related work.

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end project lifecycle across all active site projects.
• Align each project with goals, budget and timelines.
• Lead and mentor site project engineers and coordinators.
• Report consolidated project status to seniors.

Job description

Role Summary:

Responsible for Safety, Quality, Schedule and Budget of Greenfield and Brown field Projects of Galaxy Surfactants Limited at Tarapur.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accountable for delivering all projects with Zero LTI and incidents
• Responsible for leading projects from Concept to Commissioning including Basic

Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Erection, Commissioning and Closure of

large capital projects in India

• Project Lead for projects of capital investment up to INR 100 cr.
• Prioritize projects activities based on resource availability and planning decisions
• Responsible for budget and schedule of projects
• Involve and work collaboratively with subject experts internally and externally
• Accountable for Safety performance of contractors
• Responsible for inspection of equipment, interpretation of drawings and clarification sought by erection contractors, through a Team of internal or external experts
• Project progress monitoring and sending progress report to Management.
• Driving Procurement in projects through a Techno-Commercial Team.
• Identify project activities related risk and develop mitigation plans
• Responsible for commissioning of project RTFT.
