Job summary

Safran Engineering Services seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of Digital Services initiatives in product/services mode. You will manage end-to-end execution, run governance, support Agile/hybrid delivery, and ensure build-to-run readiness including adoption and support transition.

You will work across business, IT/platform, architects, data/AI, DevOps and QA, using delivery tracking tools to report progress and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.
• 8+ years in leading complex digital/IT/data transformation projects.

Responsibilities

You will work across business, IT/platform, architects, data/AI, DevOps and QA teams, using mentioned tools for delivery tracking and reporting.Function: Digital Services projects management and delivery (Build Industrialize Run/Support)Role : Lead end-to-end delivery of digital services/products (AI/GenAI, data, cloud platforms, PLM/engineering digital, automation) with strong governance, process compliance,predictable control on scope,schedule,cost and quality.10+ years leading complex digital/IT/data transformation projects in matrix environments with multiple stakeholders.Key responsibilities (what success looks like)- Manage the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, control, closure), ensuring delivery on time and to budget- Establish and maintain well documented and communicated inline to the process and audit compliance.- Drive delivery through Agile or hybrid approaches (sprints, MVP increments, backlog discipline) aligned to delivery context.- Monitor project KPIs, manage Workload/Capacity, project rituals and create clear dashboards and reporting.- Capture lessons learned and share best practices across the organization.- Manage internal/external partners and vendors as needed (contracts/SOWs, delivery commitments, acceptance criteria).- Project ownership and align stakeholders (business, IT/platform, security, development/Run teams) on objectives, priorities, and constraints; maintain transparent communication.Job RequirementsCompetencies- Leadership & matrix management: ability to lead direct/indirect teams, influence without authority.- Digital domain awareness- not necessarily hands-on coding, but must be fluent- Cloud & platform concepts: environments, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, release controls, cost awareness (FinOps exposure is a plus)- Data/AI delivery lifecycle: PoC MVP industrialization; understanding roles like data engineering, ML engineering/MLOps, GenAI engineering.- Build-to-run reality: operational support model and how product teams transition to steady-state support.- Ability to operate in Waterfall / Agile / Hybrid delivery contexts, selecting the right approach per project.- Structured problem-solving & decision-making: uses data to drive decisions and define measurement systems.- Risk and governance rigor: proactive risk assessment, escalation discipline, decision traceability.- Communication: excellent written/oral English; can present clearly to senior leadership and delivery teams- Ethics & judgement: professional credibility, sound decision-making, confidentiality awareness.Tools: JIRA/ DevOps / PowerBI / Microsoft 365 toolsCertifications: PMP, Agile ScrumBut what else?
