Job summary

Zetwerk is seeking a Project Head Solar EPC to oversee end-to-end delivery of utility-scale solar projects across multiple sites. You will lead engineering through commissioning, ensuring safety, budget adherence, and timely completion.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, quality, and HSE teams, provide guidance to project managers, and manage client relationships and change orders. A strong track record in EPC project leadership is required.

Qualifications

• 12–20 years of experience in EPC project management.
• Proven track record of managing multiple large-scale projects.
• Experience with solar EPC projects (50–100+ MW).
• Experience working with EPC contractors, developers, and IPPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the execution of multiple large-scale solar EPC projects (100+ MW) across various locations.
• Drive project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall project governance from the corporate office.
• Ensure projects are delivered within defined timelines, cost targets, and quality standards.
• Monitor project performance through regular reviews, dashboards, and progress tracking.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Quality, and HSE teams for seamless project execution.
• Support engineering reviews, procurement planning, and construction strategies to optimize project delivery.
• Provide guidance and direction to Project Managers and site teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders and clients for project execution matters.
• Conduct regular review meetings with clients, consultants, and internal leadership.
• Manage change orders, contractual obligations, and project escalations.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost optimization opportunities.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support contract management and ensure compliance with project agreements.
• Provide periodic project updates, MIS reports, and performance dashboards to senior leadership.
• Track key project milestones including engineering completion, procurement progress, construction progress, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, safety standards, and internal company policies.
• Promote strong safety culture across project sites.

Role Overview

The Project Head Solar EPC will be responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of multiple utility-scale solar projects (100+ MW) across different locations. The role will lead end-to-end project delivery from engineering through commissioning, ensuring projects are executed safely, within budget, and as per committed timelines. This position will work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams while providing leadership and guidance to site project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Quality, and HSE teams for seamless project execution.

Stakeholder & Client Management

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering.
• MBA / PG in Project Management is an added advantage.

Experience

• 12 -20 years of experience in EPC project management.

• Proven track record of managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
