Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced PEB project leader based in Telangana. You will own end-to-end delivery of large PEB projects, from planning to handover, supervising planning, erection, commissioning and client handover across multiple sites with extensive travel.

Our client is a leading Indian engineering and manufacturing group with a strong presence in pre-engineered steel buildings and structural solutions. Its PEB business operates across multiple manufacturing facilities with a production capacity of approximately <10,000 MT per month, serving large industrial and commercial customers across India and international markets.

Job Description

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large PEB projects from planning through execution, erection, commissioning and handover.
• Drive project schedules, sequencing, resource planning and execution to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead and develop a large project organisation comprising regional, planning and site teams.
• Manage project budgets, CAPEX/OPEX, costs and overall project performance.
• Own relationships with customers, contractors, consultants, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot project-level execution challenges and drive corrective actions across multiple sites.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a BE/BTech graduate in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 20-30 years of experience, including strong hands-on exposure to PEB, structural steel, heavy engineering or large-scale industrial projects. Direct PEB experience is strongly preferred, particularly candidates who have handled a PEB business or division during their career. Candidates should have proven experience in end-to-end project execution, steel erection, commissioning, project planning, client and contractor management, and leading large project teams. Experience from PEB, structural steel, steel fabrication, heavy manufacturing, industrial construction or EPC organisations will be considered, with PMP certification preferred. The role is based in Telangana and requires extensive pan-India travel.
