Job summary

Krishna United Group in Raipur is seeking a Dy Project Head Iron Ore Beneficiation to lead the complete greenfield execution of a 2.25 MTPA plant from concept to commissioning.

Requirements: Metallurgy or Mechanical background, 18–26 years experience, must have commissioned at least one Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant of 2.0 MTPA or more. You will coordinate with suppliers, EPC contractors and regulators to meet schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Experience: 18–26 years in relevant field.
• Must have commissioned at least one Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant of 2.0 MTPA or above.
• Strong knowledge of beneficiation processes and plant integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield execution of a 2.25 MTPA Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant from concept to commissioning.
• Finalize process flows, layout drawings and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with technology suppliers, consultants and contractors; monitor progress, cost and timeline.

JOB DESCRIPTION - Dy PROJECT HEAD (IRON ORE BENEFICIATION)

Position: Dy Project Head Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant

Capacity: 2.25 MTPA Iron Ore Beneficiation

Location: Raipur

Reporting to: Director

Experience: 18 - 26 Years

Qualification: Metallurgy / Mechanical

Mandatory: Must have commissioned at least ONE Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant of 2.0 MTPA or above.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Responsible for complete Greenfield execution of 2.25 MTPA Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant from concept to commissioning.
• Finalization of Process Flow Sheet: Crushing, Screening, Grinding (Ball Mill), Hydro-cyclone, Magnetic Separation (LIMS / WHIMS), Spiral, Thickener, Filtration, Tailing Management.
• Review and approval of PFD, P&ID, Equipment Layout, GA Drawings.
• Monitoring of Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical erection and commissioning.
• Coordination with Technology Supplier, Consultant & Contractors.
• MIS Reporting to Management - Daily Progress, Cost & Timeline.

PURCHASE & PROCUREMENT

• End-to-end responsibility for Purchase of entire Beneficiation Equipment Crushers, Screens, Ball Mill, Classifiers, Hydro-cyclones, Magnetic Separators, Spirals, Thickeners, Filter Press, Pumps, Conveyors etc.
• Vendor identification, Techno-Commercial Evaluation, Negotiation, PO finalization.
• Controlling project cost through effective purchase strategy and vendor development.
• Coordination for timely delivery of equipment at site.

LIAISONING - KEY SKILL

• Extensive experience in Liaisoning for Iron Ore Beneficiation / Pellet Projects in CG
• Environmental Clearance (EC), CTE / CTO, Mining Lease, Forest NOC
• Approvals from Pollution Control Board (CECB / OSPCB), CGWA for water, Factory & Boilers, Electrical Inspector, PESO, DISCOM (Power)
• Liaisoning for Land, Railway Siding, Water and Power connectivity.
• Handling of Govt. Officials, DM Office, Industrial Department, MOEF.

Desired Profile:

• Strong knowledge of Iron Ore Beneficiation Low Grade (45-55% Fe) to High Grade (62-65% Fe).
• Hands-on knowledge of Grinding circuit, WHIMS, Spirals, Dewatering system
• Excellent Leadership, Team Handling & Contractor Management.
