Job summary

Mounee Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Plant Head to lead the Iron Ore Beneficiation plant in Raipur. You will oversee production targets, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across all operations, while driving continuous improvement and cost optimization.

You will manage a large team of engineers and supervisors, coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and HR, and report to senior management on performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production targets and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency across all plant operations.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize performance and reduce costs.
• Lead and develop a diverse team of engineers, supervisors, and plant personnel with a focus on safety and high performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate maintenance to maximize equipment uptime including preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Monitor KPIs related to production, quality, cost, and safety; take corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Implement quality control systems to meet market specifications for beneficiated ore.
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and technology upgrades.
• Liaise with Sales, Logistics, Finance, HR and external stakeholders; report on performance and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct regular plant inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to lead our Iron Ore Beneficiation plant operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring optimal production, efficiency, safety, and quality. This role requires a strong leader with extensive technical expertise in iron ore beneficiation processes and a proven track record in managing large-scale industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire iron ore beneficiation plant operations, ensuring the achievement of production targets, quality specifications, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize plant performance, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
• Manage and lead a diverse team of engineers, supervisors, and plant personnel, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies, promoting a zero-harm workplace.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability, including preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, cost, and safety, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Prepare and manage the annual operational budget, controlling expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Implement and manage quality control systems to ensure the beneficiated iron ore meets required market specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, technology upgrades, and best practice implementation.
