Job summary

People, Jobs, and News is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee Pan India Power Transmission projects, including design, drawing, and execution activities. The role requires coordinating with clients, contractors, and authorities to ensure timely clearances and safe execution.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years of experience in power transmission, familiarity with 765 kV TBCB projects, and strong surveying and site planning skills for effective project delivery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in power transmission projects.
• Experience handling multiple 765 kV TBCB line projects is preferred.
• Strong field surveying, planning, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple Power Transmission Projects across Pan India including Design & Drawing.
• Follow ups, execution / supervision works of Power Transmission & Distribution Projects.
• Project scheduling, including material & manpower planning.
• Responsible for the execution works of Power Transmission Projects.
• Supervise, Monitor & Inspect the project time to time.
• Well versed with survey, civil, foundation, erection, stringing, testing, commissioning of Transmission lines.
• Lead and ensure completion of project till handing over the Project.
• Involved in conducting the field survey site planning and submitting the same to the concerned.
• Liaison with local authorities/other government authority related to construction work for clearances & approvals.
• Coordinating with clients, contractors, consultants for smooth functioning of the construction activities and resolving bottle necks.
• Coordinating project review meetings for tracking project progress and resolving any bottle necks.
• Liaison with clients, supply chain, external agencies, govt. authorities, contractors on determining technical specifications, for smooth execution & obtaining on time clearances.
• Ensure a safe work & execution as per the safety SOP with Zero accident
• Identify shortcomings in delivery of work, man, material and machinery and suggest corrective measures and appropriate reporting to the concerned.
• Assist Functional Teams & guide them in ensuring project deliverables on various critical parameters.

Experience – From 15 Years to 24 Years

Preferred candidates: - Candidates having experience of handling multiple projects of 765 KV TBCB line.
