Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in India seeks a senior professional to lead automotive functional safety. You will define and execute the product safety lifecycle per ISO26262, coordinate with V&V, and prepare safety work products.

You will interact with project managers, suppliers, and safety assessors to ensure compliant safety releases. The role requires 8+ years in automotive functional safety, hands-on ASIL-D lifecycle delivery, and strong hardware/software understanding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in Automotive Functional Safety management and ISO26262 deployment.
• Completed safety lifecycle for projects up to ASIL-D.
• Good understanding of Hardware and Software architecture and development process.
• Familiar with Jira, Microsoft Project, …etc
• Experience with Safety Assessments/Audits.
• Preferred: Knowledge in Automotive MCU architectures.
• Experience in semiconductor product development mainly as SEooC.
• Experience in supplier management and communication with customers.
• Familiar with other standard (IEC61508, …etc)

Your Profile
