Job summary

Vefes Engineering is seeking a Finance Head – Project Finance in Mumbai to lead debt fundraising and financing for solar projects. The role requires deep expertise in project finance, financial closure processes, and investor engagements.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of relevant experience, with CA / MBA Finance / CFA preferred. Candidates with only accounting/bookkeeping experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead project debt fundraising and working capital financing for solar projects.
• Manage mandate-to-money lifecycle from fundraising to financial closure and disbursement.
• Develop financial models for OPEX, CAPEX & B2C business verticals.
• Prepare investor/lender teasers, pitch decks and information memorandums.
• Manage banking relationships and working capital facilities.
• Coordinate with lenders, LIE/LIA, legal and technical teams for loan disbursement.
• Ensure PDC/PCC and pre/post-disbursement compliance.
• Monitor project cash flows, debt utilization, project costs and MIS.
• Lead negotiations with banks, NBFCs, PE funds and institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project debt fundraising and working capital financing for solar projects.
• Manage complete mandate-to-money lifecycle from fundraising to financial closure and disbursement.
• Develop financial models for OPEX, CAPEX & B2C business verticals.
• Prepare investor/lender Teasers, Pitch Decks and Information Memorandums.
• Manage banking relationships, working capital facilities and refinancing.
• Coordinate with lenders, LIE/LIA, legal and technical teams for loan disbursement.
• Ensure PDC/PCC and pre/post-disbursement compliance.
• Monitor project cash flows, debt utilization, project costs and financial MIS.
• Lead negotiations with banks, NBFCs, PE funds and institutional investors.

Qualification
