Job summary

Jakson Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Defence Projects in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh. You will oversee site preparation, installation, testing, and documentation for LT/HT DG sets and related enclosures, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will manage schedules, budgets and resources, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure strict adherence to defence processes and method statements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Min 6 years of hands-on project management experience in DG sets and defence projects.
• Deep familiarity with LT/HT panels, diesel fuel systems, exhaust layouts and electrical schematics; knowledge of defence processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site preparation, safe offloading, positioning, installation and alignment of LT/HT DG sets and acoustic enclosures.
• Supervise testing: no-load and full-load trials, cable laying, terminations, earthing and safety checks.
• Ensure adherence to ATP, QTP, FAT, QAP and Defence project documentation.
• Plan and control project schedules, milestones, budgets and resource allocation.
• Enforce safety systems: LOTO, JSA, permit-to-work and spill controls.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and internal engineering teams.

Job description

1. Project Execution: Oversee site preparation, safe offloading, positioning, mechanical/electrical installation, and alignment of LT/HT DG sets and acoustic enclosures or Project Management for Defence Projects.
2. Testing & Commissioning: Supervise no-load and full-load trials, cable laying, terminations, earthing, and statutory safety checks.
3. Documentation: Understanding of ATP, QTP, FAT, QAP and Technical Manuals as per Defence Project requirements.
4. Planning & Control: Manage project schedules, milestone tracking, budgets, and resource allocation
5. Safety & Compliance (HSE): Enforce Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), permit-to-work systems, and environmental spill controls.
6. Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary interface for clients, consultants, vendors, and internal engineering teams.

Requirements & Qualifications

1. Experience: Min 6 years of hands-on project management experience in DG sets, Defence Projects.
