Job summary

JAKSON Group is seeking a safety‑focused professional in Dadri, India to lead SITC of diesel generator sets with strict HSE compliance. You will review safety analyses, train teams, and coordinate with clients and consultants to ensure safe, efficient project execution.

The role demands rigorous attention to safety protocols, strong communication, and hands‑on oversight of electrical and mechanical activities during DG installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing HSE standards across DG SITC projects.
• Proficient with MS Office and safety documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations during DG supply, install, testing and commissioning.
• Review and approve JSA, HIRA, and method statements before work starts.
• Conduct site safety induction and toolbox talks for workers and subcontractors.
• Supervise unloading, lifting, shifting, and placement of DG sets and accessories.
• Verify third‑party certification and safe use of lifting tools and equipment.
• Monitor safety during DG foundation, mechanical installation, and alignment.
• Enforce electrical safety, LOTO, and permit‑to‑work systems.
• Ensure safe installation of fuel systems, exhausts, and acoustic enclosures.
• Oversee cable laying, termination, earthing, and electrical testing safely.
• Ensure barricading, signage, and restricted access during testing and commissioning.
• Monitor safety during no‑load, load trials, and DG commissioning operations.
• Ensure availability and readiness of fire‑fighting and emergency response equipment.
• Identify, report, and close unsafe acts and hazardous conditions.
• Maintain daily safety records, checklists, and incident reports.
• Coordinate with client, consultant, and statutory safety representatives.
• Implement environmental controls for diesel handling, spills, noise, and emissions.
• Exercise authority to stop work in unsafe conditions.
• Capable of handling mechanical & electrical SITC of DG sets.
