Job summary

Tekwin Power Systems India is seeking a cost estimator to drive accurate costings for electrical panels, BOMs, and bids. You will read SLDs and GA drawings, source supplier pricing, and support a seamless tender process with Design, Sales, and Procurement teams.

The role demands sharp cost analysis, strong vendor management, and collaborative ability to optimize margins while tracking post-order costs against estimates.

Qualifications

• Experience with LT/HT electrical panels and components.
• Experience building BOMs and panel costing.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, SLDs and specifications.
• Strong cost analysis and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Read technical drawings (SLDs, BOQs, GA drawings) and prepare accurate cost estimates and material lists (BOM) for electrical panels.
• Get pricing from suppliers, compare quotes, and find the best value without compromising quality.
• Analyse RFQs/tenders, prepare costing for bids, and work with Design, Sales, and Procurement teams to answer technical queries.
• Assess project risks and cost variations and help improve profit margins.
• Support project teams after order confirmation and compare estimated vs. actual costs.
