Job summary

AECOM India Private Limited is seeking a qualified environmental professional to lead environmental projects in Tamil Nadu. The role involves site visits, data collection, LCA, waste management, circular economy initiatives, air quality modelling, and preparing environmental reports and ESG strategies.

The candidate will engage in stakeholder consultations, support proposals, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, under supervision. On-site work at Chennai location is expected.

Qualifications

• Masters in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the Environmental Sector.
• Experience with site visits, data collection and analysis of data.

Responsibilities

• Perform site visits, collect and analyze primary and secondary data.
• Conduct Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies.
• Oversee solid waste management and compliance.
• Develop ESG strategy and reporting.
• Prepare environmental reports and EMPs.
• Assist in securing statutory clearances and permits.
• Support in stakeholder consultations and workshops.

Job Description

• Masters in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science/ Environmental Management/ Environmental Sustainability
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the Environmental Sector
• Site visit, data collection and analysis of primary and secondary data
• Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
• Solid Waste Management and Compliances
• Circular Economy
• Air Quality Modelling and mitigation measures
• Assessment of environmental impacts and provide mitigation measures
• Preparation of Environmental report and EMP
• Prepare application for Statutory Clearances and Consent to Establish/ Operate
• Preparation of ESG strategy and reporting
• Stakeholder consultations, workshops, and trainings
• Support in preparation proposals
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
