Linxon GETS Chennai, India, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design and engineering delivery for traction power projects. You will coordinate with Civil, Track, Signalling, Telecom, E&M, Rolling Stock and Construction teams to ensure timely deliverables and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities include design of large/complex traction power systems, preparation of technical bids, design basis, and interfacing with multiple disciplines while adhering to EN/IEEE/IEC standards.

Using your experience and knowledge, you will be a part of the delivery of a variety of projects and bids drawing upon the wider team for the technical engineering requirements and building a strong relationship with our clients. You will be client-facing and as an expert you will be guiding and training the team, focusing on upcoming technologies and setting up working with the team and ensuring it meets our client's expectation.
Interface with clients, contractors, consultants, utility authorities and railway operators. Participate in technical meetings and progress reviews with clients and stakeholders.
Able to handle during design reviews, technical workshops, value engineering studies and risk assessments. Track engineering progress and identify design risks, mitigation measures and opportunities for optimization.
Provide technical support during procurement, manufacturing, installation, testing and commissioning phases. Understand the site engineering issues, technical queries (TQs) etc. Participate in FAT, SAT, Integrated Testing & Commissioning activities if required.
In hands of experience of complete Detailed Design Engineering for Traction Power Systems covering TSS, ASS, SP, SSP, OHE/OCS, Third Rail, SCADA interfaces, Earthing & Bonding, EMC and associated systems. Ensure engineering deliverables are produced in accordance with project schedules, quality requirements, employer specifications, and EPC contract obligations. Review and approve detailed design drawings, calculations, reports, material requisitions, technical specifications, and installation methodologies. Coordinate with Civil, Track, Signalling, Telecom, E&M, Rolling Stock, SCADA and Construction teams to ensure successful integration of interfaces.
