• Data Entry and Management: Create and enter detailed information about marine equipment, machinery, and systems into the Planned Maintenance System database.
• Planned Maintenance System Setup: Customize data fields, maintenance checklists, and reporting templates to optimize the system for marine engineering needs.
• Equipment Documentation: Gather technical documentation, manuals, and specifications for marine equipment and machinery.
• Data Quality Assurance: Regularly review data entries to identify and rectify any discrepancies or inaccuracies in the Planned Maintenance System.

Responsibilities:

• Data Entry and Management: Create and enter detailed information about marine equipment, machinery, and systems into the Planned Maintenance System database. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data, including technical specifications, maintenance schedules, and spare parts information.
• Planned Maintenance System Setup: Customize data fields, maintenance checklists, and reporting templates to optimize the system for marine engineering needs.
• Equipment Documentation: Gather technical documentation, manuals, and specifications for marine equipment and machinery. Organize and maintain a central repository of equipment-related documents within the Planned Maintenance System.
• Data Quality Assurance: Regularly review data entries to identify and rectify any discrepancies or inaccuracies in the Planned Maintenance System. Perform data validation and quality assurance procedures to ensure the integrity of the information.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of marine engineering concepts and ship machinery.
• Understanding of maintenance procedures and inventory processes.
• Familiarity with certificates and surveys related to vessels will be preferred.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt to marine software systems quickly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Marine Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of marine equipment, machinery, and ship systems.
• Familiarity with Planned Maintenance System (PMS) software will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of MS Office, data entry, and database management concepts.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
