Job summary

Sify on-site in India seeks a Project Engineer Electrical to lead electrical execution for power distribution, switchgear, generators and UPS systems, ensuring build aligns with design and is ready for commissioning.

You will review drawings, coordinate with contractors and OEMs, support pre-commissioning checks and resolve on-site issues, bringing hands-on judgment under live conditions to deliver reliable, safe electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electrical site engineering, ideally on data center or mission-critical construction.
• Knowledge of power distribution, switchgear and backup power systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise on-site electrical works (power, switchgear, generators, UPS, cabling) per designs.
• Review electrical drawings and shop drawings for accuracy and constructability.
• Coordinate with contractors and OEMs on installation sequencing and QC.
• Support commissioning with pre-commissioning checks and issue resolution.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts affecting the electrical build.
