Job summary

Polyhose in Kannivakkam, Guduvancherry seeks an experienced Aerospace Quality/Projects specialist with 5+ years in engineering and manufacturing. You will manage customer enquiries, review drawings, prepare BOMs and quotes, and coordinate with NPD, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production to meet delivery timelines.

You will ensure CSR compliance, facilitate customer reviews, and drive sample development, validation, and approvals with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing AS9100D and NADCAP in aerospace manufacturing and quality systems.
• Ability to review drawings and customer requirements for feasibility and compliance.
• Prepare technical and commercial documentation for tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Address customer enquiries and understand drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Review customer drawings and requirements for technical feasibility.
• Prepare BOMs, cost estimates, and quotations based on customer needs.
• Coordinate with NPD, Supply Chain, Quality, Production, and Engineering for projects.

• Ensure CSR and flow-down to CFT and departments; handle observations.

Job description

• Possess good knowledge of AS9100D requirements and NADCAP requirements applicable to aerospace manufacturing and quality systems.
• Address customer enquiries and understand customer drawings, specifications, technical requirements, and applicable standards.
• Review customer drawings and requirements for technical feasibility.
• Prepare BOMs, cost estimates, and quotations based on customer requirements.
• Review tenders and prepare all required technical and commercial documentation for tender submissions.
• Coordinate with NPD, Supply Chain, Quality, Production, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams for project execution.
• Monitor project activities and ensure development is completed as per agreed timelines.
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding project and product development status.
• Organize internal project review meetings and track action items, responsibilities, and progress.
• Provide technical support and assistance to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate sample development, validation, testing, and customer approval activities.
• Collect and review customer satisfaction feedback and initiate appropriate improvement actions.
• Participate in customer review meetings and technical discussions.
• Understand and ensure compliance with Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
• Ensure customer requirements, specifications, and applicable standards are effectively flowed down to the CFT and relevant departments.
• Coordinate closure of customer observations, technical queries, and development-related issues.
• Maintain project documentation, development records, customer communications, and approval records.
• Support continuous improvement activities related to aerospace projects, customer requirements, quality, cost, and delivery.
