Job summary

Om Sai Services in Bihar seeks a motivated HVAC Project Engineer to manage design, BOQ procurement, site execution and commissioning from concept to final handover. The role requires strong technical leadership to coordinate clients, consultants and internal teams across office and site environments.

Candidate should have 4–6 years of relevant HVAC experience and a diploma/BE/BTech in mechanical engineering (HVAC preferred).

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC preferred).
• 4–6 years of experience in HVAC projects.
• Experience with HVAC design including VRF/VRV, Chilled Water and duct systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC design & engineering for projects.
• Prepare and maintain complete project drawings (AutoCAD).
• Coordinate with Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and interior teams.
• Oversee site execution, testing, commissioning and handover.

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically sound HVAC Project Engineer who can independently manage HVAC projects from Design BOQ Procurement Support Site Execution Testing & Commissioning Final Handover.

The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge along with leadership skills to coordinate clients, consultants, contractors and internal execution teams while ensuring timely project completion with the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. HVAC Design & Engineering

The engineer shall be responsible for complete HVAC system design.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform Heat Load Calculations using HAP, Elite CHVAC or Manual Methods.
• Design VRF/VRV Systems.
• Design Chilled Water Systems.
• Design Ductable Air Conditioning Systems.
• Equipment Selection (AHU, FCU, Chillers, VRF, Pumps etc.).
• Static Pressure Calculations.
• Duct Sizing & Air Distribution Design.
• Pipe Sizing & Hydraulic Calculations.
• Fresh Air & Ventilation Calculations.
• ESP Calculations.
• Air Balancing Requirements.
• Equipment Scheduling.
• Preparation of Technical Specifications.
• Compliance with ISHRAE, NBC and Client Standards.

2. AutoCAD Drafting & Drawings

Prepare and maintain complete project drawings.

Including:

• HVAC Layout Drawings
• Duct Layout Drawings
• Chilled Water Piping Drawings
• Refrigerant Piping Layout
• Drain Piping Layout
• General Arrangement (GA)
• Mechanical Room Layout
• Riser Diagrams
• Sectional Drawings
• Coordination Drawings
