Job summary

Sigma Airtech Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for experienced Project Engineers HVAC to manage and execute HVAC projects at various project locations.

The selected candidates will be responsible for day-to-day project execution, site coordination, manpower and subcontractor management, material planning, drawing coordination, quality, progress monitoring, client/consultant coordination, measurements and testing & commissioning.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in HVAC project execution.
• Strong practical knowledge of HVAC installation and site execution.
• Experience in commercial, institutional, industrial or large-scale HVAC projects preferred.
• Willingness to work at project sites and relocate/deploy based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HVAC project execution at site as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedule.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors for timely execution.
• Study and implement approved GFC/shop drawings, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with Design and Drafting teams for drawing rectification, modification and site-related technical requirements.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Stores teams for timely availability of project materials.
• Supervise installation of HVAC equipment, ducting, piping, insulation, supports and associated systems.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with client, consultant and other MEP agencies for inspections, approvals and interface requirements.

Job Summary

Sigma Airtech Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for experienced Project Engineers HVAC to manage and execute HVAC projects at various project locations.

The selected candidates will be responsible for day-to-day project execution, site coordination, manpower and subcontractor management, material planning, drawing coordination, quality, progress monitoring, client/consultant coordination, measurements and testing & commissioning.

Candidates with relevant experience in Water-Cooled Chiller Plants and/or VRV/VRF systems will be preferred depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HVAC project execution at site as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedule.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors for timely execution.
• Study and implement approved GFC/shop drawings, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with Design and Drafting teams for drawing rectification, modification and site-related technical requirements.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Stores teams for timely availability of project materials.
• Supervise installation of HVAC equipment, ducting, piping, insulation, supports and associated systems.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with client, consultant and other MEP agencies for inspections, approvals and interface requirements.
• Prepare and maintain DPRs, progress reports, material records, manpower reports and site documentation.
• Verify site measurements and provide necessary inputs for project billing.
• Monitor project progress against planned schedules and highlight delays or constraints.
• Coordinate testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover activities.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with relevant internal teams for timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with project safety requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, approvals, inspections, measurements and project correspondence.

Technical Experience Preferred

Depending on the project location, candidates with experience in the following will be preferred:

Water-Cooled Chiller Projects

• Chillers and chilled-water systems
• Chilled-water piping
• Pumps and cooling towers
• Chiller plant installation
• Testing, balancing and commissioning

VRV/VRF Projects

• VRV/VRF outdoor and indoor unit installation
• Refrigerant piping and REFNET/branch piping
• Drain piping
• Controls and addressing
• Pressure testing, vacuuming and commissioning
• VRV/VRF troubleshooting

Candidate Profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience in HVAC project execution.
• Strong practical knowledge of HVAC installation and site execution.
• Experience in commercial, institutional, industrial or large-scale HVAC projects preferred.
• Ability to independently coordinate site activities and subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel and project documentation.
• Good communication and client/consultant coordination skills.
• Willingness to work at project sites and relocate/deploy based on project requirements.

Important

Candidates with specific experience in Water-Cooled Chiller Plants or large-scale VRV/VRF projects will be given preference based on project requirements.

The position is on Sigma Airtech Engineers Pvt. Ltd. payroll, with initial deployment at the assigned project location. Employees may be transferred/deployed to other Sigma projects based on business requirements.
