Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of HVAC projects, with strong expertise in chiller installation, testing, commissioning, and project execution.

The ideal candidate should manage schedules, resources and site teams to ensure successful project delivery across large commercial, industrial and healthcare HVAC initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• PMP/PRINCE2 certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of HVAC projects from initiation to handover.
• Lead installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of Water-Cooled Chillers, Air-Cooled Chillers, HVAC Systems, Cooling Towers, Pumps and related equipment.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Develop project plans, schedules, manpower deployment plans and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety and contractual compliance.
• Conduct site meetings and provide project status updates to management and customers.
• Manage project risks and resolve technical and execution challenges.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of project materials and equipment.
• Support project billing, cost control, variation management and collections.
• Ensure compliance with EHS and quality standards throughout project execution.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in chiller installation, testing, commissioning, and project execution, with the ability to manage project schedules, resources, stakeholders, and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of HVAC projects from project initiation to handover.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Project Management certification (PMP/PRINCE2) is an added advantage.

Experience Required

• 8-15+ years of experience in HVAC project execution and project management.
• Strong hands-on experience in chiller installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Proven experience managing large commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, or infrastructure HVAC projects.
• Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
