Job summary

Sarla Advantech in Indore, India seeks an Engineer with PLC/HMI/SCADA experience to coordinate with customers and lead SCADA project implementations. You will integrate PLCs from Rockwell, Siemens and Mitsubishi with central servers and manage data storage in Historian/relational databases.

The role involves modifying PLC/SCADA/HMI systems, developing reports, and supporting MES and Validation teams. Knowledge of OPC, Kepware, and various communication protocols is essential; pharma project

Qualifications

• Engineer with PLC/HMI/SCADA experience (3–6 years)
• Experience with SCADA systems; iFix SCADA preferred
• Proficiency with Historian/SQL; Prodigy Historian preferred
• Basic knowledge of OPC servers & Kepware
• Knowledge of communication protocols RS232, RS485, Ethernet, Modbus
• Understanding of Ethernet networks
• Experience with PLC systems such as Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi
• Customer handling and good communication skills
• Familiarity with validation software category-4 & -5
• Pharma projects experience preferred, male candidate preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day with customers and cross-functional teams
• Develop and implement SCADA projects
• Integrate PLCs (Siemens/Rockwell/Schneider/Mitsubishi) with central server
• Store data in Historian/Relational databases
• Modify PLC/SCADA/HMI systems as required
• Develop reports; VB customization
• Work with various automation software (SCADA/PLC/Historian)

• Troubleshoot and investigate issues during project phase

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Day to day coordination with the customer/User and CFT
• SCADA Projects developments and implementation
• L2 project (Integration of different make PLCs with central server for electronic data) i.e. Siemens/Rockwell/Schneider/Mitsubishi etc.
• Data storage in Historian (Proficy Historian/ Relational database as Historian)
• Modification in PLC/SCADA/HMI system as and when required
• Reports Development/ VB customization
• Working on various types of Automation software (SCADA/PLC/Historian)
• Support for the MES and Validation team
• Troubleshooting and investigation of the issues during project phase

Preferred candidate profile

• Engineer with PLC/HMI/SCADA experience 3-6 years
• Have worked on SCADA system and aware about the features, iFix SCADA is preferable.
• Have worked on Historian/SQL and aware about the features, Proficy Historian is preferable.
• Should have basic knowledge of OPC servers & Kepware.
• Should have knowledge for the different type of communication RS232, RS485, Ethernet, Modbus etc.
• Basic understanding about the Ethernet network.
• knowledge of PLC Systems such as, Rockwell, SIEMENS, Mitsubishi etc.
• Customer handling skills and good communication.
• Basic knowledge about the validation software category -4 & 5.
• Candidate who worked on few pharma projects will be preferable.
