Job summary

Redient Security is seeking a Project Engineer to manage project engineering activities supporting large-scale construction projects in Gurugram. Candidates should have 5-8 years of relevant experience, a degree in Engineering or related fields, and proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.

Key responsibilities include managing Submittals, Change Orders, RFIs, and estimation, along with maintaining quality assurance for all projects. The position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of construction practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience with reputed construction or engineering organizations is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Job Overview:

We are looking for Project Engineers with strong construction/project engineering experience to support project execution, coordination, documentation, estimation, and engineering activities. This role offers an opportunity to work on large-scale construction projects and grow into leadership-oriented project engineering roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project engineering activities including Submittals, Change Orders, RFIs, Quantity Take-Offs, Estimation, and Project Coordination.
  • Participate in project management, documentation, and project administration activities.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Coordinate project activities and provide regular task updates.
  • Support estimation efforts, resource planning, and project execution.
  • Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards across projects.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for team members when required.
  • Take ownership of document management processes and applications.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with project stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills:

Experience handling at least two of the following:

  • Submittals
  • Change Orders
  • RFIs
  • Quantity Take-Offs (QTO)
  • Estimation
  • Project Coordination
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of construction practices and project engineering processes.

  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, adaptable team player with strong accountability and relationship-building skills.
