Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Instrumentation) to oversee all I&C aspects of projects from design review to testing and commissioning. You will manage control systems, field instruments, and automation to meet specifications, timelines, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include design reviews, site installations, QA/QC, and coordination with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA).
• Experience with field instruments (flow, pressure, temp, level, analyzers).
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
• Excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with ISA, IEC, IS, NFPA standards where applicable.
• Proficiency in engineering tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review instrumentation and control system designs, drawings, and specs (DCS/PLC/SCADA).
• Ensure compliance with standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Monitor installation of instrumentation systems, cabling, and control panels at site.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and process teams for integration.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors for technical discussions.
• Implement QA/QC procedures for instrumentation works.
• Track project progress, review schedules, and ensure timely I&C completion.
• Review BOQs, validate contractor RA bills, and manage variations.
• Oversee loop checking, calibration, testing, and commissioning of instruments.

About the Role: The Senior Project Engineer Instrumentation Engineer (PMC) is responsible for overseeing all instrumentation and control (I&C) aspects of the project, from design review through execution, testing, and commissioning. The role ensures that control systems, field instruments, and automation are delivered in line with project specifications, quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve instrumentation and control system designs, drawings, and specifications (DCS/PLC/SCADA, field instruments, control panels).


• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and client requirements.


• Monitor and supervise installation of instrumentation systems, cabling, and control panels at site.


• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and process teams to ensure proper integration of systems.


• Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors for technical discussions and approvals.


• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for instrumentation works.


• Track project progress, review schedules, and ensure timely completion of I&C activities.


• Review BOQs, validate contractor RA bills, and manage variations/change orders.


• Oversee loop checking, calibration, testing, and commissioning of all instruments and control systems.


• Ensure compliance with safety standards, hazardous area requirements, and statutory regulations.

About You
