Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in India is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale commercial projects, ensuring on-time completion within budget and quality standards.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams, manage budgets, schedules, risk and change control, and report progress to stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • 8-12 years of project management experience in large-scale commercial projects.
  • Experience with budgets, schedules, stakeholder coordination, and contract administration.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering through complex projects.
  • Proficiency in planning, reporting, risk management and performance monitoring tools.

Job Description Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The role involves managing project planning, stakeholder coordination, budget control, risk management, and overall project performance while driving successful outcomes aligned with business objectives.



About The Role


  • Lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery in line with approved scope, baseline schedules, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

  • Manage project controls, including planning, scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, change control, and performance monitoring to achieve project objectives.

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely decision-making, issue resolution, and seamless project delivery.

  • Monitor project performance against key metrics, milestones, and deliverables, driving corrective and recovery actions to mitigate risks and maintain project timelines.

  • Establish effective project governance through regular progress reviews, management reporting, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with organizational standards and project requirements.



General Responsibilities


  • Lead project cost, commercial, and billing management activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, project milestones, and financial objectives.

  • Manage project budgets, BOQs, estimates, rate analysis, and cost plans, ensuring commercial feasibility and effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Drive financial performance reviews through regular analysis of cost reports, project dashboards, and budget variances, implementing corrective actions to maintain project profitability.

  • Facilitate resolution of variation orders, contractual issues, and commercial risks in coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with procurement, design, and site teams to optimize project costs, manage vendor engagements, and ensure efficient utilization of resources.

  • Monitor project execution through regular site reviews and progress assessments, ensuring alignment between planned and actual work, budget, and schedule.

  • Ensure effective management of commercial and project-control documentation, including cost reports, cash flow forecasts, billing records, risk registers, and performance trackers.

  • Lead project forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities, ensuring alignment with business goals and project delivery targets.

  • Manage project planning and governance processes, including schedule development, progress monitoring, risk management, recovery planning, and stakeholder reporting to ensure successful project delivery.



About You


  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

  • Master’s degree in construction management (preferred)

  • 8-12 years of experience in project management for large-scale, Commercial projects within a PMC, developer, or consulting environment.

  • Proven experience in managing project budgets, schedules, stakeholder coordination, and contract administration.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving successful project delivery.

  • Proficiency in project planning, reporting, risk management, and performance monitoring tools.
