Job summary

Johnson Controls in Chennai is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, configure and commission complex building automation systems (BMS/HVAC/Fire & Security as applicable). You will perform testing, calibration, and validation using standard JCI tools, and troubleshoot to ensure optimal performance at multiple sites.

You will respond to warranty/service calls, coordinate with contractors and internal teams, maintain clear customer communications, and prepare commissioning documentation to

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; 2-year program acceptable.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in installation and commissioning of building systems or industrial automation.
• Basic understanding of control systems, field devices, wiring, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting system-level issues in field environments.

• Prepare and maintain documentation such as commissioning reports, service logs, and checklists.
• Support handover activities and ensure customer satisfaction post-installation.
