Job summary

DVI Solutions Asia in Bangalore, India seeks a proactive Project Engineer with hands-on AV system design and on-site installation experience to join our team. You will work with the project manager and clients to ensure smooth delivery of AV integration projects.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in AV, reads schematics, coordinates resources, and travels to client sites as needed. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related technical field.
• 2–4 years of experience in the AV industry or related field.
• Strong knowledge of AV systems integration, cable management, and equipment installation.
• Familiarity with Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, Shure, etc
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Hands‑on experience with onsite project execution and coordination.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of AV integration projects.
• Support the project manager with documentation, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Interpret AV system drawings, signal flow diagrams, and schematics.
• Oversee onsite installation, configuration, and testing of AV systems including displays, audio systems, video conferencing, and control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX).
• Conduct system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and commissioning.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors during project execution.
• Ensure all project activities comply with company standards and safety requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and end‑users post‑installation.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as reports, test results, and handover documents.
