Job summary

Egis is seeking a detail-oriented Graduate Engineer to join its Audio-Visual and Information Technology team in Bengaluru, India. You will support the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of integrated AV/IT systems for corporate environments.

You will work collaboratively with senior engineers and clients to deliver efficient technical solutions while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and precision.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of audio-visual systems, components, and technologies.
• Solid understanding of IT fundamentals including networking, hardware, and software systems.
• Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving.
• Experience with system installation, configuration, and testing procedures.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication abilities, both technical and non-technical.
• Familiarity with control system platforms such as Crestron, AMX, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, standards, and infrastructure.
• Experience with AV design and planning software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technical documentation tools.
• Preferred: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or manufacturer-specific AV certifications.
• Preferred: Previous experience in AV system installation, integration, or IT support roles.
• Preferred: Project coordination or team collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test AV systems including projectors, displays, video conferencing equipment, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV/IT system issues in a timely and organized manner, documenting all findings and resolutions.
• Assist in the design and planning of AV/IT infrastructure solutions based on client requirements and technical specifications.
• Perform system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate AV systems with existing network infrastructure and security protocols.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, user guides, and maintenance schedules.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on AV/IT system operation and best practices.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to evaluate technical requirements and identify potential challenges.
• Participate in project implementation from planning through deployment and post-installation support.
• Stay current with industry standards, emerging technologies, and best practices in AV/IT systems.
