Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Director to lead luxury hospitality projects from concept through completion. You will oversee planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover with a strong focus on stakeholder management and brand standards.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years in construction PM, a B.Tech/BE in Civil Engineering, and proven hospitality project delivery for top hotel brands.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of overall experience in construction project management.
• B.Tech/BE Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Hospitality project delivery experience with leading hotel brands required.
• Strong understanding of the complete project lifecycle from feasibility through closeout.
• Experience coordinating with hotel operators, owners, developers, architects and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of hospitality and hotel projects across all project phases.
• Manage project planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate with clients, hotel operators, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Drive project schedules, budgets, quality standards and risk management processes.
• Ensure compliance with project objectives, statutory requirements and brand standards.
• Mentor and guide project teams to achieve goals and maintain stakeholder relationships.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to lead large-scale hospitality and hotel projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in luxury hotel developments and demonstrate strong leadership in managing complex stakeholder environments, project delivery, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of hospitality and hotel projects across all project phases.
• Manage project planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Coordinate with clients, hotel operators, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Drive project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and risk management processes.
• Ensure compliance with project objectives, statutory requirements, and brand standards.
• Monitor project performance and provide strategic solutions to project challenges.
• Lead stakeholder management and maintain strong relationships with clients and key project partners.
• Mentor and guide project teams to achieve business and project goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 20+ years of overall experience in construction project management.
• B.Tech/BE Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Proven experience in delivering hospitality projects with leading hotel brands such as:
• Oberoi
• Marriott
• Taj
• Novotel
• Hyatt
• Accor
• Hilton
• Similar luxury/upscale hotel brands
• Strong understanding of the complete project lifecycle from feasibility through project closeout.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel operational and construction requirements, including:

• Back of House (BOH)
• Commercial Kitchens
• Laundry Areas
• Public Areas & Amenities
• MEP Integration
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Experience working with hotel operators, owners, developers, architects, and contractors.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
