Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Director with 20–25 years of aviation project experience to lead complex airport design programs in India. You will direct multidisciplinary teams and ensure delivery aligns with client objectives and regulatory requirements.

You will act as the main client contact, coordinating stakeholders, reviews, and approvals throughout the project lifecycle, while guiding risk management and executive reporting to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or related field).
• Minimum of 20 years in project management, with at least 10 years in the aviation sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• In-depth knowledge of airport design regulations and standards.

• Review technical deliverables for accuracy and completeness, manage project risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure smooth project completion.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
